I’m Aline de Castro, with a background in physiotherapy and a strong passion for helping people reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and empowering.

My work is shaped by more than 15 years of experience supporting people living with chronic pain and over 10 years working with Pilates for women’s health, both in Brazil and now in Canada. While I am pursuing my physiotherapy license in Canada, I serve as the Rehab Pilates Lead at Larch House Physio & Movement, supporting our team in delivering individualized, movement-based care.

My perspective is also influenced by my personal experience as a spinal surgery survivor. Going through recovery myself taught me the value of patience, resilience, and compassionate support, and continues to shape how I approach movement and rehabilitation today.

I believe movement should help people feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies. Whether you are recovering from injury, managing persistent pain, navigating pregnancy and postpartum changes, or looking to move with greater ease, my goal is to create a supportive environment where you can build trust in your body and enjoy movement again.

Outside of work, I enjoy birdwatching, walking, cycling, meditation, and spending time in nature.

At the core of everything I do is a simple goal: to help people feel more at home in their own bodies.

Whether helping someone return to sport, recover after surgery, manage persistent pain, or maintain independence as they age, she focuses on creating practical treatment plans that fit real life.

As Clinical Director of Larch House Physio & Movement, Sally provides clinical leadership, mentorship, and ongoing support to the rehabilitation team while continuing to work directly with clients. She is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and participate fully in the activities that are meaningful to them.

Outside of work, Sally enjoys staying active through strength training, running, and outdoor adventures. Having experienced her own share of injuries over the years, she understands firsthand the challenges of recovery and the importance of building long-term resilience.
